This facility is courtesy of Sri Aurobindo Autocare Services, a unit of Sri Aurobindo Udyog Trust. Autocare provides road transport to and from Pondicherry to those connected with the Ashram and Auroville. It can receive passengers arriving at airports or railway stations in cities in South India. Before Autocare can accept bookings, you must fill in a few details about yourself and your trip. Once you submit this information, you will receive an email from Autocare confirming the availability of transport and the cost of the trip.
Please note that your booking will be confirmed only after Autocare receives an acknowledgement from you. Contact Autocare in case there is any change in the time of your arrival or departure or a cancellation of your trip. If a driver does not meet you at the appointed time, please contact Autocare for information before you arrange alternate transport. It could be that the driver may have difficulty in finding your address. On reaching your destination, pay the driver the taxi fare. Drivers are instructed to collect the required amount. Payment is accepted only in Indian rupees.
